DESCRIPTION:The aim of this course is to provide practitioners working with young people the knowledge and tools to critically discuss and explore the topic of tobacco and electronic cigarette use. \nLANDED come from a ‘harm-reduction’ approach to drug use\, we don’t condemn or condone anyone’s drug use. We recognise young people are going to engage in risky behaviours and we aim to provide them with non-biased information in an effort to promote positive lifestyle choices.

DESCRIPTION:Evidence so far indicates e-cigarettes are far less harmful than tobacco and can help people who smoke to cut down or stop smoking. However\, more evidence is needed to help inform smokers and policy-makers looking to reduce the harm from tobacco. \nThe UK E-Cigarette Research Forum (UKECRF) is an initiative led by Cancer Research UK in collaboration with leading experts in the field of e-cigarettes and tobacco control. The Forum brings together policy-makers\, researchers\, practitioners and the NGO community to discuss the emerging evidence and knowledge gaps about e-cigarettes. The group also seeks to identify research priorities\, generate ideas for new research projects and enhance collaboration between forum participants.
