SUMMARY:WINTER SCHOOL 2023: AMBIENTE\, NUTRIZIONE\, SALUTE – SESSIONE PARALLELA
DESCRIPTION:ENVIRONMENT\, NUTRITION\, HEALTH \nWhen one thinks of these 3 areas\, worlds or how one wants to define them\, in citizens but also in institutional referents this immediately translates into simple but alas partial images: melting ice or disappearing glaciers. \nCommon thought that it is necessary to change\, implementing\, increasing skills and knowledge. For this\, Motore Sanità intends to face the time to make people understand the close connection and interdependence between these 3 that cannot be considered and thought of as separate worlds.\nEnvironment\, nutrition\, health are a single large system that means psycho-physical\, economic and social well-being. Covid has taught a lot\, but not enough.\nAn unhealthy environment\, unhealthy nutrition generate a huge impact on health\, a huge fallout in medical expenses\, a cost for years of life in bad health\, a huge pressure on medical assistance.\nThus resources are taken away from those who really need to be treated\, from those who must have access to innovative treatments\, monitoring technologies\, extensive screening\, modern diagnostic tools\, tools for disease follow-up.\nMore healthy environment\, more healthy nutrition\, more health translates into: more resources for the best treatments and more resources for sick citizens\, more room for innovation.\nThe concept of Global Health implies a connection between different worlds and renewed paths. Prevention plays a fundamental role for the sustainability of the welfare system starting from vaccines and therapies that cure situations predisposing to the development of tumours. The concept of risk reduction is spreading thanks to the dissemination of good practices and scientific demonstrations starting from addictions. \nAt the same time\, innovative targeted therapies impact on the effectiveness of treatments\, changing the organizational future of care pathways for many pathologies. First of all\, all this entails a greater domiciliarization of these highly effective innovative therapies. It goes without saying that the Regional Health Services must adapt to the needs and requests of citizens who are increasingly informed and increasingly aware of their rights and duties. \nTo discuss the often overwhelming news that emerges from the medical and technological progress of research and to homogenize the sliding doors that attempt to connect the various dimensions of the National Health Service in a system with a global approach\, Motore Sanità wants to bring together the key players in the Pollenzo Winter School system to generate ideas and find shared practical solutions.
