CoEHAR UNICT: Project Manager of Clinical Research at Rectorate for the first day of ISPM

“Not just promises, but facts. This is CoEHAR of Catania and what we presented today is just the first out of 9 project promoted by the Center of Excellence for the Acceleration of Harm Reduction at the University of Catania”.  This is how Prof. Riccardo Polosa, Director of CoEHAR, inaugurated ISPM, “International Summer School on project management (ISPM)”, during the event held at the main building of University of Catania.

During the school (scheduled from 1 to 6 October at Una beach Hotel Giardini Naxos) 15 students from all over the world, Italy included, will join an high specialized course, completely free, led by ten teachers, among some of the most famous project manager.

“ISPM school is reason of great pride for us – declared Prof. Francesco Purello, Director of the Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine to which the CoEHAR refers – It trains professionals of healthcare world profoundly useful for this delicate sector”.

“Project Manager is a highly demanded resource both in the business world and in trade in general – added Dott. Daniela Saitta, Project Coordinator – a project must be well planned by a professional manager in order to be held and complete to perfection. We strongly wanted this Summer School to compare skills both from students and teachers with interesting background and a different point of view and culture”.

“But we don’t stop here – added Director Polosa, delegate for the Rector for Technological Transfer and Relations with Companies in biomedical fields – some of the best students in this course will remain available to the university for counseling about scientific project design applied to clinical research. These profiles have a high academic depth and they are highly demanded by companies and universities around the world”.
