Catania, 26 September – 15 students from 11 different countries will take part in the first project management summer school (ISPM) organised by CoEHAR, and directed by Riccardo Polosa.

From the 1st to the 6th October, in the wonderful setting of Una Hotel Beach in Giardini Naxos, Taormina, students selected by university scientific committee will follow leading experts’ lessons in design and in project management of clinical and scientific research.

Tuesday 1 October, from 10 am to 12 pm, Rector Francesco Priolo will open the school with an inaugural lecture, set in Rettorato, Piazza Università.

The International Summer School on Project Management, headed by Dr. Daniela Saitta (Project Manager of the Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine), is the first of the 9 projects recently launched by the CoEHAR. Its aim is to train professional manager in research projects, specifically oriented to health sciences.

“CoEHAR research projects are programs concerning monitoring systems and scientific and technological innovation, training and internationalization plans and regional initiatives involving all Sicilian hospitals, that will host a specific service to help patients to quit smoking. We are at the center of a scientific revolution that starts proudly from Catania” – so the director of CoEHAR, prof. Riccardo Polosa.
