The co-project leader of Replica, Massimo Caruso, has been invited by the Temple University (USA) to hold a lecture about the results achieved during the first year of the Replica project.

The Temple University is one of the seven international partners of Replica, the CoEHAR research project which replicated three relevant studies in the cytotoxicity and inflammation induced by cigarette smoke and ENDs aerosol.

The lecture has been organized at the Biolife Sciences Building of Temple University, by professor Antonio Giordano, president, founder and chairman of the board of the Sbarro Health Research Organization (SHRO), a nonprofit organization committed to funding excellence in basic genetic research to cure and diagnose cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and other chronic illnesses, and to foster the training of young doctors in a spirit of professionalism and humanism.

It has been an honor and a privilege to speak in front of our partners, especially after the last years of Covid19 pandemic” commented professor Caruso “The lecture was an occasion to show the results of the Replica project and to report the newest activities of the project to our partners. Supporting an international network of researchers and sharing knowledge is one of the key mission of CoEHAR and a step forward to the right dissemination of scientific evidence about tobacco harm reduction”.
