The CoEHAR consortium kicks off 2023 with two first positions. Professor Riccardo Polosa, founder of the CoEHAR, has been appointed for 2022 as one of the most productive scientist in the field of the research applied to anti-smoking tools. Moreover, Polosa reaches the top position as the most productive authority of the University of Catania and reaches the top ten of all Southern Italy universities for the research applied to every scientific field. To reiterate this, also in 2022, the official ranking of Plos Biology.
“Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators” published by the international renewed magazine Plos Biology makes publicly available the impact of scientific publications of 100,000 researchers, in terms of citations, coauthorship, citations to papers in different authorship positions, and a composite indicator.
According to this study, Prof. Polosa is among the most cited scientists in the world for 2022. The names listed are rigorously classified into 22 scientific fields and 126 subfields. A careful and meticulous research that for years has seen the primacy of the scientist from Catania in the international Top List.
A record that is associated with another incredible scientific result of the CoEHAR team which closes 2022 with a record: the group of scientists affiliated with the research center in Catania has managed to achieve, in just 4 years, 128 scientific publications in prestigious journals dedicated to Harm Reduction.
